Southern Maryland

SMECO (Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative) is a community-owned electric cooperative (co-op) serving more than 130,000 customers in four Southern Maryland counties. SMECO has been providing electric service to Southern Maryland customers since 1942 and currently provides electricity to all of Charles and St. Mary's counties except for the northern tip of Calvert County and southern portion of Prince George's County.
